| The River Ridge activities department is the heart and hub of the facility. The program includes a variety of daily experiences addressing the needs of all the people who reside here. Activities include community outings, spiritual and religious programs, music, physical activities and challenges, games and tournaments, social clubs and events, special holiday programs and events, volunteer opportunities, sensory stimulation programs, mentally challenging activities and events, arts and crafts, fine arts and intergenerational programs. This is a resident driven program with a menu of monthly activities for each resident to choose from. Through the therapeutic experiences, new relationships and friendships are formed adding to the residents' well being and happiness. We provided a nurturing positive environment that enhances the lives of our residents on a daily basis. |
